What to Expect

When visiting, we want you to learn more about God and spend time worshiping Him. We want you to feel comfortable and to get to know us as well. What we do is quite simple. Like the first churches, we are independent and non-denominational. Here are some things you can expect in our services.

THE BIBLE We view the Bible as our single source of truth. We do our best to follow it. In our classes we place emphasis on studying the Scripture to learn more about Jesus and His will for our lives. In addition, every Sunday morning we have a lesson presented to the entire congregation.

SONG WORSHIP We love to worship our Lord and God. The Bible teaches that God desires to be worshiped in song (Ephesians 5:19-20; Colossians 3:16). We encourage everyone to join in regardless of their talent. Your heartfelt expression of worship is what is important.

PRAYER We are a praying people and do so several times during a service.

THE LORD'S SUPPER One of the most important things we do on Sunday is to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf. We devote our first assembly to this. We follow the example of New Testament Christians (Acts 20:7; I Corinthians 11:20-24) and partake of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine every week. We provide this for all guests who want to participate.

GIVING Scripture shows us that individual Christians of a local church gave to meet the needs and work of the church (I Corinthians 16:1-2). When you visit, we will not ask you for your money.
